Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Luxully ("Luxully", "we", "us", or "our") provides the Invoice Manager mobile application ("App").

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, collects, stores, uses, and shares when you use our services.

We designed the App as a primarily local-first business application. Most business information you create is stored directly on your device unless you choose to use an optional online feature such as account authentication or Google Drive backup.

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information You Create in the App

The App allows you to create and manage business records including:

• Business name, contact details, address and business logo
• Customers and customer contact information
• Products and services
• Invoices
• Quotes
• Estimates
• Payments and receipts
• Expenses
• Taxes and payment instructions
• Notes, terms, signatures and document attachments
• Business reports generated from your records

This information is primarily stored locally on your device in the App's private application storage.

Luxully does not routinely receive copies of this business information simply because you use the App.

3. Account Information

Creating an account is optional for local use of the App.

If you choose to create or sign in to an account, the App uses Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google.

Depending on the sign-in method you select, information may include:

• Email address
• Authentication account identifier
• Name associated with your Google account
• Google account profile information provided during sign-in

Authentication information is used to identify your account, allow you to sign in, support account recovery, and support optional account-based features.

Password authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication. We do not receive or store your plain-text password.

4. Google Sign-In

If you choose "Continue with Google" or another Google sign-in option, Google provides the authentication information required to sign you into the App.

Use of Google authentication is optional. You may use the App locally without signing in where that option is available.

5. Google Drive Backup

The App offers optional Google Drive backup and restore functionality.

If you enable this feature, selected App business data and backup files are uploaded to your Google Drive account using Google's application-specific storage functionality.

Google Drive backup may include information such as:

• Business settings
• Customers
• Products and services
• Invoices, quotes and estimates
• Payments and receipts
• Expenses
• Business logos
• Attachments included in the App's backup format

Google Drive authorization is requested only when you choose to enable or use Drive backup functionality.

Your Google Drive account and Google's handling of data are also governed by Google's own privacy terms.

6. Manual Backups

The App also allows you to create manual backup files.

When you create a manual backup, you choose where the backup file is saved or shared using Android's system file interfaces.

You are responsible for protecting backup files that you export from the App and for controlling who has access to them.

7. Contacts

The App may allow you to import customer information from contacts on your device.

Contact access is used only when you choose to use the contact import feature.

Depending on your Android version, the App may use an Android system contact picker or request the minimum permission necessary to access the contact information you select.

Imported contact details become part of the customer record you choose to save in the App.

We do not sell your contacts or use them for advertising.

8. Photos, Logos, Signatures and Attachments

You may choose files or images from your device for purposes such as:

• Business logos
• Invoice or document images
• Expense attachments
• Signatures
• Supporting business documents

These files are accessed only when you initiate the relevant selection or upload action.

Files used by the App may be copied into App-managed storage. If you enable Google Drive backup, applicable files may also be included in your backup.

9. Notifications

The App can provide optional local notifications such as:

• Invoice due reminders
• Overdue invoice reminders
• Quote expiry reminders
• Estimate expiry reminders
• Backup reminders

Where Android requires notification permission, the App requests it when you choose to enable notifications.

These reminders are generated using information stored by the App on your device.

You may disable notifications or individual reminder types from the App's settings or through Android system settings.

10. Information Shared With Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information.

Certain information may be processed by third-party service providers when you choose to use features that depend on those services.

Google / Firebase

We use Google services including Firebase Authentication for account authentication and Google authentication services for optional sign-in.

Google Drive

If you enable backup, App backup data may be transmitted to and stored in your Google Drive account.

These providers process information according to their applicable terms and privacy policies.

11. How We Use Information

Information accessed or processed through the App is used to:

• Provide invoicing and business-management functionality
• Create invoices, quotes, estimates and receipts
• Calculate business totals and reports
• Save and restore your business information
• Authenticate users who choose to create accounts
• Provide optional Google Drive backup
• Send locally configured business reminders
• Maintain the security and reliability of the App
• Respond to support or privacy requests

We do not use customer or invoice information stored in the App for targeted advertising.

12. Local Data Storage

The App is designed to store most business information locally on your Android device.

Local information is stored within Android application storage and managed by the App.

Removing the App, clearing App data, losing your device, or performing certain device resets may result in loss of locally stored information if you have not created a backup.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through the App.

Local App data is stored within Android's application storage environment. Communications with supported Google and Firebase services use secure network connections provided by those services.

Firebase also applies security measures to information processed by its services.

However, no device, storage system, network transmission, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should protect your device, Google account, App account, backup files and login credentials.

14. Data Retention

Business data stored locally remains on your device until you delete the relevant records, clear App data, or uninstall the App, subject to any device backup functionality.

Manual backup files remain wherever you choose to store them until you delete them.

Google Drive backup data remains associated with your Google account until it is removed through applicable App functionality or Google account controls.

Account information processed through Firebase Authentication is retained while your App account exists, subject to applicable service provider requirements and legal obligations.

15. Deleting Your Account and Data

If you created an App account, you may request deletion of that account.

Account deletion is available from within the App through the account or privacy settings.

Account deletion removes the applicable App authentication account and associated account data under our control, except information that we are required to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory purposes.

Business records stored only on your device are under your control. You may delete them from the App or erase the App's local storage.

Files or backups stored in services under your control, such as Google Drive or manually exported backup files, may need to be removed separately from those locations.

16. Your Choices

You can choose to:

• Use the App without creating an account where supported
• Decline Google Drive backup
• Use manual backup instead of cloud backup
• Decline contact access
• Decline notification permission
• Disable notification categories
• Remove selected logos and attachments
• Delete business records
• Delete your App account

17. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for businesses, professionals and individuals managing business documents. It is not directed toward children.

We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.

18. International Users

The App may be used in multiple countries.

Depending on your location, applicable privacy laws may provide rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing of personal information.

You may contact us to exercise privacy rights that apply to you.

19. Third-Party Services

Optional features of the App may rely on services operated by third parties, particularly Google and Firebase.

Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by those service providers.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or the third-party services we use change.

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
