Delete Your Invoice Manager Account
You can permanently delete your Invoice Manager by Luxully account either directly inside the App or by submitting a deletion request to us.
Delete Your Account From the App
If you still have access to Invoice Manager, the quickest way to delete your account is directly from the App.
- Open Invoice Manager.
- Open the left navigation menu.
- Go to Account & Backup or the account/privacy section.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the information shown.
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
- Complete any identity verification or reauthentication requested by the App.
Request Deletion Without the App
If you have uninstalled the App, lost access to your device, or cannot use the in-app deletion option, you can request account deletion by email.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Invoice Manager account.
Your request should include:
- The email address associated with your Invoice Manager account
- A clear statement that you want your Invoice Manager account deleted
You do not need to send us your password. Never send your password or Google account credentials by email.
Request Account DeletionIdentity Verification
To protect accounts against unauthorized deletion, we may need to verify that the person requesting deletion is the owner of the account.
Verification may include asking you to send the request from the email address associated with your account or to complete authentication through the App.
We will never ask you to send us your account password.
What Is Deleted?
When an authenticated Invoice Manager account is successfully deleted, applicable account information under Luxully's control is deleted or disassociated where appropriate.
| Data | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Invoice Manager authentication account | Deleted after the deletion request is completed. |
| Authentication account identifier | Deleted or disassociated where applicable. |
| Account information under Luxully's control | Deleted or anonymized where applicable. |
| Business data stored only on your device | Remains on the device unless you also choose to erase the App's local business data, clear application storage, or uninstall the App. |
| Google Drive backups | May remain in your Google account and may need to be deleted separately through the App or your Google account controls. |
| Manual backup files | Remain wherever you saved or exported them until you delete those files yourself. |
Local Business Data
Invoice Manager is primarily a local-first application. Business data such as invoices, customers, products, expenses and related records may be stored directly on your device.
Deleting your online account does not necessarily erase business records that exist only in your device's local application storage.
If you also want to remove locally stored business data, use the appropriate data-removal option provided by the App, clear the App's storage through Android settings, or uninstall the App after confirming that you no longer require the information.
Google Drive Backups
If you have used the optional Google Drive backup feature, backup files are associated with your own Google account.
Deleting your Invoice Manager authentication account does not necessarily delete every backup or file stored in a service controlled through your Google account.
You may need to remove applicable backup information separately through Invoice Manager or the controls provided by Google.
Manual Backups and Exported Files
Files that you manually export, download, save or share are under your control.
Deleting your Invoice Manager account does not automatically delete backup files stored in:
- Your device storage
- External storage
- Another cloud-storage provider
- Messaging applications
- Another device or computer
You must delete those copies separately if you no longer want to retain them.
Information We May Need to Retain
In limited circumstances, certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required for purposes such as:
- Compliance with applicable law
- Fraud prevention
- Security
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing legal agreements
- Meeting legitimate regulatory obligations
Where retention is legally required, information will be retained only as appropriate for the applicable purpose and obligation.
Before You Delete Your Account
Before completing account deletion, consider whether you need to:
- Create a final backup of important business information
- Export invoices or receipts that you need for your records
- Save any important customer or transaction information
- Review existing Google Drive backups
- Cancel an active subscription, if applicable
